How to get from the train Station to Be Alicante

Alicante is a comfortable city with good public transport communications. So, if you arrive by train, you will find it very easy to get to your accommodations in Be Alicante. Renfe station is in the city center, very accessible and with means of transport to other points of the town. It is located on the avenue of Salamanca, very close to the famous Plaza de Luceros, where you can take the Tram. In addition, you have several bus lines that will take you to Rambla Méndez Núñez, very close to Be Alicante. You can also take a taxi in the same station, if you prefer a more comfortable journey. These are all the options you have to get from the Renfe Station to Villavieja Street, where our main headquarters are.

Walking:

If you want to go walking to Be Alicante, it will not take more than 20 minutes. Head south on Avenida Salamanca to Calle Bono Guarner. Turn left onto Calle Cat Senante Llaudes and continue onto Calle Serrano. Turn left onto Maisonnave Avenue and continue on Plaça de la Porta de Sant Francesc. In the square, turn right to Plaça de la Porta de Sant Francesc, then left towards Carrer Barón de Finestrat. Turn right again and you will reach Calle Bailén. From there, turn left onto Calle Mayor and continue until you reach your destination: Calle Villavieja.

By taxi:

If you prefer to tale a taxi, yu have two options:

  • Radio Taxi Alicante: Stop located on the side of the Station. Phone 965 252 511.
  • Tele Taxi Alicante: Stop located on the side of the Station. Phone 965 101 611.
By bus:

On Salamanca Avenue and Óscar Esplá Street (which is right next to the train station), you can take several bus lines (red color) that will leave you very close to your accommodation.

  •   Line 1 – Take the bus at Oscar Esplá 16, and get off at Calle San Vicente. From there, in just a few minutes you will arrive to Be Alicante.
  • Linea 5 – Take the bus on Avenida Salamanca 7, and get off at Rambla Méndez Núñez. You are only minutes away from your accommodation!
  • Line 9- Get on the bus at Avenida Salamanca 12, and get off at Calle San Vicente. On foot you will reach Be Alicante in less than 10 minutes.

If you travel with a bicycle, you can take it to the bus, but always when it is folded and in its bag, and measure no more than 100x60x25 centimeters. The maximum change that the driver has is 10 euros and they do not accept tickets of 20 euros. Remember to have change available!

By Tram:

From Renfe, cross to Avenida de la Estación and continue straight until you reach Plaza de Luceros. There, in the same square, is located the station ‘Luceros’ of the metropolitan Tram. Lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 will leave you at the ‘Mercado’ station, in Rambla Méndez Núñez, in less than three minutes.

How to get from Rambla Méndez Núñez to Be Alicante:

Both the bus and the tram will leave you in Rambla Méndez Núñez (or Calle San Vicente, just at the intersection with the Rambla), one of the main arteries of the city that flows directly into the port. To get there from Be Alicante on foot, head northeast on Calle Santo Tomás towards Calle San Andrés. Turn left onto Calle Cienfuegos, and turn right onto Calle del Carmen. From there, you only have to turn right towards Calle Maldonado, and then to the left until Calle Villavieja. You will get ther in only seven minutes.
