And from other cities in Spain there are also daily and frequent flights. If you land in Madrid, Barcelona or Mallorca, you will not have problems to make a transfer in just an hour. The train and the bus are also other good options, although not as fast as the plane.

If you come from Valencia, the journey by car takes only two hours, and you also have daily buses and trains, from Monday to Sunday.

Once you have arrived at Alicante airport, you can easily move around the region. If your destination is the capital, you have several means of transportation. Of course, rentacar is one of the best options. At the same terminal you can find a large number of companies to rent your car. Although we always recommend to do so in advance and arrive at the city with your reservation already done, to avoid queues and unexpected problems. The agents will be able to assist you in your language without any problem and once you get your vehicle, it’s time to enjoy your holidays!

If you do not want to drive, there are buses every 30-40 minutes, which will take you directly to the city center, and the ticket costs less than 4 euros. If you are over 65, you travel as a family, or buy a voucher of 10 trips, the rate is very low: less than one euro.

By taxi it takes only 30 minutes, and you have several companies operating directly from the arrivals terminal. You know that in the heart of the historic center of the town, in an unequaled cultural environment, the doors of Alojamiento turístico La Milagrosa, the headquarters of BeAlicante, are open for you. Do not hesitate to book your apartment to enjoy an unforgettable vacation!

If your final destination is some other town in the region, Alacant airport has daily connections to Benidorm, Calpe, Murcia, Torrevieja, Torrellano, Guardamar and Santa Pola. The ticket varies according to distance, but costs between 2 and 10 euros.

You can also go to the capital by bus and from there take the Tram – metropolitan transport – which will take you to Benidorm, Calpe, Denia, El Albir, and other wonderful places in the north of the province.

The whole region is very well connected by the A-7 motorway, which crosses from the french border to the south of Spain.

Alicante’s relationship with the UK and its citizens has for many decades been one of the most special imaginable. This is your second home! You know, Alicante is Top Destination for your summer holidays.
